are organizing the ESA International Summer School on Global Navigation Satellite Systems: A Worldwide Utility
It is generally accepted that GNSS is based on a variety of disciplines from sience and engineering. This GNSS Technology is based on numerical analysis, statistics, signal processing, geodesy and classical astronomy. It is the objective of this summerschool to provide the attendees with a comprehensive overview on the design and development of satellite navigation systems as well as its applications.
The program is open to graduate students, PhD. candidates, early-stage researchers and young professional willing to broaden their knowledge.
Besides lectures on fundamentals, topics will address the US Global Positioning System, the Russian GLONASS, the European Galileo system, the Chinese BEIDOU/COMPASS, the Japanese Quasi-Zenith Satellite System and the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) as well as the augmentation systems.
International renowned scientists will give lecturers as well as the Summer School Directors Aalborg University University FAF Munich Stanford University Institute Superieur de l`Aeronautique et de l`Espace TU Graz More information and details of the program will be available on our website. www.munich-satellite-navigation-summerschool.org
