Aalborg University 

 

Aalborg University (AAU) wishes to maintain its status as the number one ICT university in Denmark. Therefore, Information- and Communication Technology (ICT) is a high profiled research area at AAU. ICT is a term describing the interdisciplinary areas of research and education, which focuses on communication and the human behind ‘the machine’.

 

Aalborg University is a powerful and renowned education and research institution with about 14,000 students and more than 1,200 researchers. The interdisciplinary approach to research and education is, in combination with the famed teaching style of Aalborg University: problem based learning in project groups, a specialty of Aalborg University. An evaluation from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has shown that this form of teaching is close to optimal for the learning process.

University College Nordjylland

 

University College of Nordjylland (UCN) is an academy of professional higher education offering a wide range of full time programmes at academy-, and bachelor degree.

UCN offer a range of mercantile-, and technical academy programmes, which meet the industries' demand. A special relationship with business and industry is a characteristic feature of UCN.

Royal School of Library and Information

 

The Royal School of Library and Information Science (RSLIS), Denmark is a university institution for development, education and research to the highest scientific level in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS). The Royal School is responsible to the Danish Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

 

In the bachelor degree programmes at the Royal School of Library and Information you learn how to organise information, knowledge and culture. This could be the knowledge on the Internet, at the library, in a private company and other places where the collection and presentation of information is central. A range of programmes tought in English is offered.
