IT industry associations
BrainsBusiness collaborates with a number of IT industry associations and IT forums similar to BrainsBusiness. The collaboration means that members of BrainsBusiness have access to events organised by the other IT forums on equal terms as the members of these forums.
IT-BranchenIT-Branchen (Danish IT Industry Association) is the largest, leading independent representative for the IT-business community in Denmark. Along with the other 5 regional ICT forums, BrainsBusiness has worked closely with IT-Branchen since 2000. In practice, this means that ITB pays membership of the regional ICT forum for its members west of the Great Belt. It-forumIt-forum is a knowledge network for IT-interested companies, organisations, educational institutions and public authorities in the Central Denmark Region and the Jutland part of the Region of Southern Denmark. The network has local steering committees in 8 cities in the two regions. IT-Forum FynIT-Forum Fyn, located on the island of Funen, is a professional organisation for IT companies and educational institutions as well as organisations and companies with an interest in IT. ITEKITEK is an industry organsation within the Confederation of Danish Industry. The organisation brings together companies within IT, tele, electronics and communication.
BrainsBusiness collaborates with a number of organisations on the development and strengthening of the North Denmark ICT cluster. The collaboration may take the shape of strategic collaboration, joint organisation of events or reciprocal communication of news items and events.
Business Region North DenmarkBusiness Region North Denmark (BRN) is a collaboration between the 11 municipalities in North Denmark. The aim is to facilitate joint growth and development for the entire region. CISS - Center for Embedded Software SystemsCISS (Danish: Center for Indlejrede Software Systemer) is a world-leading research centre within embedded software. The centre is based at Aalborg University and is accordingly anchored in a number of Denmark’s leading research environments. City of AalborgThe City of Aalborg aims to become the dynamic regional capital of North Denmark, making its mark nationally as well as internationally. As a step towards this, the City of Aalborg is one of the driving forces behind BrainsBusiness. CONNECT DenmarkCONNECT Denmark is a non-profit organisation founded in April 2000. The organisation HQ is in Copenhagen, and through a network of Denmark's finest businesspeople, the organisation offers consultancy and advice to entrepreneurs free of charge. infinITinfinIT is the national Danish innovation network for the utilisation of IT. The network invites researchers and companies working with or using IT in their day-to-day business for collaboration and knowledge exchange with the purpose of bringing forth the exact knowledge that Danish industry and society need. Invest in DenmarkInvest in Denmark is a section of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and offers assistance to foreign companies considering Denmark as a base for business activities. NOVINOVI is one of Denmark's most innovative science parks. More than 1000 employees in 100 companies constitute an office and research environment where innovation, networking and collaboration are united. SEA (Supporting entrepreneurship at Aalborg Uuniversity)SEA is the entrepreneurship organisation at Aalborg University. SEA aims at strengthening the spirit of entrepreneurship among the university's students, graduates and employees and has offered a wide range of entrepreneurship activities since its foundation in 2001. The North Denmark RegionThe main responsibility of the Region is the running of the North Denmark health system. In addition, the Region has the overall responsibility for regional development. Within ICT, the Region works to facilitate further collaboration across sectors and authorities in order to improve conditions for companies and citizens in the region. University College NordjyllandUniversity College Nordjylland (UCN) offers education, research, development and innovation within four main areas: Business, Learning, Health and Technology. Væksthus NordjyllandVæksthus Nordjylland offers advice for entrepreneurs and companies with ambitions of development and growth. At Væksthus Nordjylland, you can get guidance and consultancy free of charge. BrainsBusiness has a collaboration agreement with Væksthus Nordjylland resulting in joint events, coordination of activities and supporting each other's events by communicating the invitations through the respective websites. Aalborg UniversityAalborg University (AAU) offers education and research at the very highest level within humanities, social sciences, engineering, natural sciences and health science and technology.

BICCnetBICCnet, the Bavarian Information and Communication Technology Cluster, aims to activate and interlink the innovation and productivity potential of the Bavarian enterprises, research centres and universities. And to connect the cluster ecosystem to collaboration partners in Europe. Business Region GöteborgBusiness Region Göteborg is dedicated to strengthening and developing trade and industry in the Gothenburg region. BRG is a non-profit organisation representing 13 member municipalities, offering knowledge and contacts to companies wishing to set up or expand businesses in the Gothenburg region. DiginDigin is one of the largest IT clusters in Norway. It consists oaf 70 small and medium-sized ICT enterprises in Southern Norway. Through Digin, the companies collaborate on solving major enterprises for large clients with a long list of requirements. DSP ValleyDSP Valley is an independent cluster of excellence in smart electronic systems and embedded technology solutions. DSP Valley groups 100+ members: universities, research institutes and companies, from small start-ups, over SMEs to large international groups with a local R&D activity. GAIAGAIA is the Association of Electronic and Information Technologies in the Basque Country, a private and professional non-profit organisation, established in 1983, currently made up of 260 companies that offer products and services in the field of electronics, information technology and telecommunications. Logistics Initiative HamburgThe Logistics Initiative Hamburg is a major industry network. The registered association “Logistik-Initiative Hamburg e.V.” was established by representatives of the business community and the Hamburg State Ministry of Economic and Labour Affairs.
