BrainMatch 2012

– Matching the brightest minds from research and industry!

BrainMatch is the name of a new initiative started by Aalborg University in collaboration with BrainsBusiness ICT North Denmark.

The aim of the initiative is twofold: to increase the visibility of Aalborg University's plentiful ICT competences through a large annual conference/exhibition event and to facilitate and support increased collaboration between the university's many ICT PhD students and companies.

The BrainMatch Ph.D. Collaboration is based on a newly established online database of Ph.D. students in which companies, research institutions and other interested parties can get an overview of the many competences that the Ph.D. students have. In addition, interested Ph.D. students and companies can participate in one-to-one meetings during the BrainMatch conference. 

In addition, the BrainMatch conference will consist of a closely packed conference program with international keynotespeakers and a series of Aalborg University's foremost ICT researchers and industry VIPs will make presentations, as well as the Aalborg University Walk of ICT exhibit that shows the university's main fortes within the nine primary ICT research areas.

BrainMatch will be held for the first time on 27 March 2012.
