Aalborg University (AAU) is the largest ICT university in Denmark!

In 2010, 25 percent of all new students initiated studies with a focus on ICT - the largest percentage in the country.

At AAU, ICT is a concept that covers a very wide and cross-disciplinary group of research and study programmes, and it implies a special focus on communication and the person behind "the machine" - a focus that was not included in the old concept of IT. This large degree of interdisciplinarity is, along with the university's well-functioning and social teaching methos (project work in groups) is the university's distinguishing feature.
