Intelligent Transport Systems
The aim of the network is to make the traffic of the future safer, more efficient and more environmentally-friendly - however, this calls for intelligent communication among cars and between cars and infrastructure.
In order to achieve this, close collaboration across the public sector and companies is required. On the one hand, equipment containing positioning and communication systems need to be installed in cars, and on the other hand, attractive services need to be developed in order to make drivers utilise the possibilities.
