Smart Grid & Intelligent Buildings

”Smart Grid & Intelligent Buildings” is a topical network focusing on the intelligent use and utilisation of energy in buildings. Participants number industrial companies, knowledge institutions and public organisations that work with technological challenges within the field. Topics for the network can e.g. be how to combine and integrate various IT systems in order to achieve energy optimisation, and how the users of buildings relate to - and make use of - technology.

The network came into existence in the spring of 2011 through a merger of the BrainsBusiness ICTNORCOM topical network 'Smart Energy Grids' and the InfinIT interest group 'Intelligent Buildings' and is now run in collaboration between the two organisations.
