Join us in the North of Denmark for an inspiring hackathon that aims to invent new possibilities for outdoor tourism. North Jutland is already full of wonderful, nature adventures such as ColdHawai, National Park Thy, amazing beaches, eco-tourism, oysters, sand dunes, lighthouses, cliffs, birds, and wolves – which have made North of Jutland into a hip destination for outdoor-excited travelers!
Over two intense days we will use data to come up with innovative solutions responding to 5-6 cases posed by key tourism actors in the North of Jutland. Multiple sources of data will be explored so as to invent new services, possibilities and business cases for outdoor tourism in the North.
You will work with local stakeholders and we will inspire you to work with sub-topics of Food, Cultural heritage, Hiking routes, Mountain biking, and other exiting challenges!
The best suggestions will be rewarded with prices and possibilities for further development.
Free food, inspiration, concrete cases, a mix of open data, new platform adventures, mentors to guide you, prizes and a great venue in the Create Building at AAU!
An open mind, curiosity to co-create, ideas to share, and eagerness to make new inventions!

The hackathon is organized in collaboration between Open Data Nordjylland, Business Region North Denmark, Open4Citizens and InfinIT. The hackathon is part of a longer innovation process and the best ideas will be further developed in collaboration with local actors in a co-creation workshop in early December.
